"How to raise awareness through empathy and craftivism"
From 7pm Wednesday 22nd November
Helen Baker's social media awareness campaign caught the attention of creatives and the BBC, gaining national recognition with a documentary feature and interview with Jenny Eclair.
She shares with us:
How an empathetic approach is effective.
That activism can be gentle and not involve anger, shouting or be an 'us & them' combat.
That craftivism is an additional tool to be utilsed in conveying meaningful messages.
Helen Baker is an experienced marketeer and colour consultant with a background in education and human-centred design. She has worked with a range of national charities and local businesses to amplify their impact through effective marketing and communication from a deep understanding of each audience.
Bradford Talks are normally fully booked so please don’t delay and reserve your place!
Arrive from 0700pm and the first thirty minutes or so will be a chance to have a drink and have some chats.
We will start at 0730pm and finish no later than 0830pm.
