Our next Bradford Talks "What's happened to resilience?"
Our October event features Wafaa Powell discussing the power of resilience in our ever changing world.
NEW VENUE - The Dog and Fox
We have moved venues and will now be meeting at the Dog and Fox in Ashley (BA15 1RT).
After buying a drink at the bar, pop round to The Club Room which is behind the pub.
Our October speaker will be Wafaa Powell
"What’s happened to resilience?"
From 7pm Wednesday 25th October
Having lived around the world, taught children for 14 years, survived a 20 year war in Lebanon, and gained a Masters degree in sociology, it's fair to say Wafaa has seen her fair share of the world.
Her talk "What's happened to resilience?" will lean on her vast experience of life, giving you a potentially new perspective on the power of resilience and the role it can play in our ever changing world.
Bradford Talks are normally fully booked so please don’t delay and reserve your place!
Arrive from 0700pm and the first thirty minutes or so will be a chance to have a drink and have some chats.
We will start at 0730pm and finish no later than 0830pm.
After the talk, feel free to stay as long as you want.
Any questions, please get in touch with Jim Hughes or Andrew Eberlin.
